Nowhere was that more evident than in the practice Dr. Lewis Carroll built alongside his son, Dr. David Carroll. What began as a career became a shared journey—one rooted in respect, pride, and a deep understanding between them. Working side by side, they didn’t just care for patients; they carried forward a legacy. The lessons passed between them went far beyond dentistry—about discipline, humility, and what it means to truly show up for others. Their bond was evident to anyone who walked through the door.
Outside the office, Lewis spent much of his time fishing. It was a constant interest throughout his life—one he approached with the same focus and patience that defined his work. Whether heading out early or planning his next trip, he valued the time on the water and the routine it provided. It was simply one of the things he enjoyed most.
But above all, Lewis was a father. A source of strength with a magnetic personality. A teacher by example. Someone who showed his love through consistency, reliability, and always being there when it mattered most. His son didn’t just inherit a profession—he inherited a way of being: a commitment to excellence, a respect for others, and a deep sense of responsibility.
His legacy lives on in the practice he built, in the countless lives he touched, and, most profoundly, in his son—who carries forward not only his work, but his spirit.
